Facing Problem using Generic Vi for DMM instrument Communication

Hi,

 

I am doing generic instrument communication module, in that i am facing few problems.

In DMM communication, Generic DMM (VIs) will decide which DMM (NI DMM or Fluke or Agilent) I should use to measure.

Problem is, I lost my session while initializing the Specific DMM in Generic DMM VI.

I don?t what exactly the problem is!

Generic DMM is password protected, so i can?t trace the problem further

 

Need your help on this.

What 'Generic' DMM VIs are you refering to? The only think I can think of that you might mean are the IVI class drivers but they are not password protected. Can you provide the error code you get and maybe a bit more information about where these VIs came from?
