I currently have LabVIEW Signal Express 2.5 Tektronix edition. I downloaded LabVIEW 8.6 from this website and I am currently evaluating this software. I have found an example program from the ni.com website, that is created in Labview 5.1.1 (knock detection control), and I wanted to look at the source code of this application. My problem is that LabVIEW V8.6 is a to new version to load/convert the example application. How can I solve this problem. Is there a possibility to download an evaluation version of a LabVIEW that can open the sourcecode?thanks in advance.Willem EbbersApplication Engineer EngineWoodward Governor B.V.2131BA HoofddorpThe Netherlands

Dear Mr Ebbers,

Can you attach the VI or give the link where you downloaded the example. I can try to recompile the code in other Labview versions.
You can also look in the example finder for a similar example. Just use the find example option in the getting started window. Please let me know if I can assist you with this,

Best regards,

Hi Cabbie,
i donĀ“t think you can download older versions to test them, but you can upload your LV5 vi or show a link to the example you mean, and someone can convert it for you.

Dear Mr Ebbers,
Thank you for the link. Under the link is also the 6.0 version available for downloading. I could open this without problem except some local variables have to be redefined. Please let us know if you have any problems or question evaluating the software, you can find our phone number below.

Best regards,
