how to set the subvi required terminal?

Dear NI,
                    I created subvi's, for that i want to set the required terminal ....
                    if the some terminals are not wired the vi's must shown broken terminal to the user.

Hi,
Open your subvi,
right click at the terminal you want to set required,select  -> This Connection is -> Required
