Your description of the problem is confusing.
Are you trying to play an avi file using LV?
Are you trying to send an avi file by email using Labview?
Are you trying to receive an email using Labview, which contains an avi file and thenm play it using Labview?
Can you pinpoint the problem you are having?
Thanks

Hi
Thanks all for the answer
I created the file *.avi using LV (size  -250 Kbite)
This file I play "Windows player". Ok.
Then I sent this file using LV to mail box
Then I received file from  mail box didn't use LV
And this file *.ave wasn't played the "Windows player".
I think that the file was corrupted
The files *.doc sent and received Ok

OK..  we got a bit further.

You'll have to forgive me.. old age and all..

So you create an avi using LV that can be played using the player available from Windows.  That's good.
You then send this same file which has a .avi extention and you're saying that the mailbox returns it to you with a .ave extention?

Of course, you won't be able to play that one.  Out of curiosity, did you try changing the extention from .ave to .avi?  and try to play it..

Nevertheless, when you send the file, do you change it's extention?  Why do you get it back as an ave file?

Can you post the code that sends the email?
