I have LabVIEW 7.1 application running with my USB 6229. I do not have any problem when installing the executables on the PC where its been designed (It has drivers and LabVIEW installed). Now, when in a fresh pc (without any NI software) if the drivers CD (which came along with 6229, DAQmx 8.2) and the executable for the application are installed, it installs everything fine but when running the application, it brings up a messages mentioning few subVIs are missing.

I would also like to know how can I have drivers for the USB 6229 and the application in one CD so it would be easy to distribute.

Thanks,

Hi Mayur Patel,
which vi´s are missing? Do you know that this are some hardware vi´s? You can build an installer with LabView. You can add all drivers you need.

Actually, creating an installer with all required drivers is fairly complex with 7.1. There is the option to run executable after installation (Installer Settings>Advanced) so if you place the DAQmx installer on the CD, you can have that run after your program gets installed. If you were to upgrade to 8.x, then the whole process becomes much simpler.
